Joomba is the wierd looking superhero from another world. He is the only surviving member of the Joombata tribe of people who inhabited a small planet in the far corners of space. The Joombata people have been persecuted since the begining of time because of their unattractive looks. On Joomba's home planet everyone looked like Joomba, and he would of been considered quite handsome. Joomba's original birth planet was conquered by a tribe of space nomad vikings. Joomba was just a baby when his father placed him in a long distance travel space pod and sent off to a far far away place. Joombas space pod crash landed into the farm country in middle America. The locals did not take to kindly to the freakish looking Joomba, but they would soon discover that Joomba is a kind, warm and sensative soul. A local farmer by the name of Pa Brown tried to hit Joomba in the head with the butt of his rifle. It didnt even leave a mark and thats when Pa Brown knew Joomba had special powers. Pa let Joomba sleep in the chicken coop and gave him chores to do around the farm. Joomba was strong, he could lift a fully grown cow right up over his head. When Joomba arrived in his space pod he was wrapped up in a red blanket, this blanket or cape held special powers, and when worn could produce an anti-gravity bubble giving the user the awesome power of flight. Pa Brown's wife, Ma Brown had no idea of the significane of the red cape and put it up for sale on ebay. The winning bid come from Robodude! Robodude used the cape for a brief period of time, but only untill Joomba realized Ma's mistake and traveled to New York by bus to retrieve his lost possession. It was in New York that Joomba became a superstar. His six foot tall height and freakish appearance caused quite a sensation and almost overnight Joomba found himself with a talent agent and began making appearances on day time talk shows. On Earth Joomba is considered a freak and although he has good intentions, he is often misunderstood and discriminated against because of his bizarre looks. Joomba and ManiacMan are bitter rivals.
